About Rob Gibson
Rob Gibson graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1989, and then attended the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he graduated in 1992 with distinction.During his time at the University of Pacific, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Competition Team, participating in competitions in Houston, Texas and San Francisco, California.
After graduating, he became a personal injury defense attorney working for Jack Daniels in Century City, California. But, he soon realized that his true calling was representing the other side.
As a result of this realization, he began his career in plaintiff’s injury work in 1996. Five years later, he partnered with colleague Jeff Hughes to found Gibson & Hughes.
Attorney Rob Gibson’s Experience
Rob has tried dozens of cases to verdict. He has experience representing clients in many different types of injury cases, including wrongful death, auto accident, slip/fall, trip/fall, construction site accidents, dog bites and medical malpractice.
He is also a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only group made up of the most respected trial lawyers in the country. In addition, he currently sits on the Executive Board of ABOTA’s Orange County Chapter.
Rob is on the board of directors of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves as the co-chair of the College of Trial Advocacy for the Orange County Bar Association, which is a six-week program that is presented every two years.
Rob is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of California as well and has been a speaker and coordinator for the Constitution Rights Foundation’s High School Essay program.
The Skills And Advocacy Needed To Win
Rob is often asked to speak on a number of important legal topics. He has lectured on many topics, including personal injury, expedited jury trials, trial preparation, and Medicare.
He has also spoken on his unique perspective on personal injury cases, in addition to his thoughts on how to efficiently and expeditiously handle an injury case.
Rob also takes great pride in serving as a judge for student trial competitions for the Orange County Bar Association and Chapman Law School.
Because of his extensive experience, Rob is frequently called upon to serve as last-minute trial counsel for many firms. His reputation is one of having the willingness and the skills to pick up any case, at any time and see it all the way through trial.
